We had the pleasure of participating in a workshop on Io and the Jupiter system with researchers from all over the world, held at INPE, the Brazilian Space Agency, in Sao Jose. We began by delivering large overview talks, which lots of students also attended, and then we had more in depth conversations about our fields. It's the first meeting I've seen that was fairly small and dealt with volcanism and magnetospheric science. We made lots of progress and enjoyed getting to know each other better. We also got a nice tour of the Space Agency, saw their clean room and other great facilities.
Really nice welcome from student performers.
